After graduating from the University of Alberta in 2007 , I was fortunate enough to receive an offer to teach grade one at Westlock Elementary School for the remainder of the school year. Since then, I have taught one year of grade two and currently am teaching my eighth year of grade three! I am a truly lucky person to have a job that I love, to be able to work with such an incredibly talented staff, and to interact with not only the children, but the adults from our community.

I grew up on an acreage near Morinville and then lived in St. Albert for a brief period of time until I made the move out to Westlock to begin my new career !   In the summer of 2012 I was presented with an opportunity that I couldn't refuse, to raise my daughter in the house I grew up in!  I purchased my parents acreage off of them, and that is where I plan to settle my roots with my beautiful daughter Ayla.  I love staying active and I participate in many physical activities outside of the school such as competing in the local triathlon or heading to the mountains for a weekend of biking.  I also make time for one of my passions in life, running!  I recently completed the Canadian Death race, which is 125km long and over 3 mountains!  Aside from my classroom duties I coach soccer, volleyball, and the Running Room Games running team for both Westlock Elementary, and RF Staples.  Let's have another great year, and Go Foxes Go!!!
