Biography

I started my journey with W.E.S. when I did my Grade 12 high school work experience in 1991. I was hooked! I knew then that I wanted to help children learn. The next year I went to Red Deer College to achieve my Teacher Assistant Certificate. I was fortunate enough to be able to have my college practicum back at W.E.S. After graduation I joined the staff at W.E.S. for the next six years. I left in 1999 to start my family. Our family lived in Morinville for the next ten years and we had two wonderful children. Through those years I gained experience by working as a teacher at Oxford Learing Center in St. Albert, and as a playschool teacher in Morinville. After ten years we made the move back to our home town of Westlock. I was so excited to have my two boys attend this school so they could be a part of the W.E.S. family.  I am so excited to be back working at this wonderful school.  I look forward to another exciting year.
