After earning my Education degree from the University of Alberta in 2001, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching Grades 4, 5, 3 and Kindergarten at Westlock Elementary School. I am thrilled to be back in Grade 3 and looking forward to a wonderful year with my fabulous class! I enjoy helping my students become confident learners and I marvel at their confidence, resilience and compassion for others.
Westlock is a warm and supportive community. My husband and I live on a grain farm with our three children, trusty dog Missy and seven cats. We enjoy curling, golfing, running and hanging out at the Pembina River. My children also enjoy the many local opportunities they have to participate in Ringette, Gymnastics, Hockey, Cross Country Skiing and Swim Club.
Education is not just what we learn in school. We have the opportunity to grow and become better communicators, partners, parents, teachers, students, and workers in everything we do. (Tim Merriman)
